I was born in Tripoli, Greece in 1982. In 2007 I took my degree of Architectural Engineering from the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. In 2008 I received my Master’s Degree from the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, Barcelona. Until now I have worked in several offices in Athens, Greece and Tunis, Tunisia, and I have occasionally touched projects concerning scenography and graphic design. Along with all that I always try to enrich my architectural studies with knowledge in other disciplines such as dance and cinema (so far) and of course with life experience gained by travelling. Currently I live in Barcelona, Spain.
architectural vision
I always admire the ability of space to create bodily experiences and activate the human senses and perception through geometry and materiality. In parallel with this quest for a pure and meaningful architecture, I find inspirational and helpful the use of digital and parametric design tools, as well as advanced CAD-CAM technologies, always as an indispensable supplement to the human brain.
